The deck was originally made in Belgium by La Turnhoutoise and published there as "Renovation 2000" in the late 1950's. It had different indices and the joker didn't have the stars, but a J in the corners. But La Turnhoutoise sold the rights to the German VASS company in the early 1960's. This deck, with German indices, was made by the VASS from Leinfelden. (Thanks to Joop Muller for information)
